TERMS OF SALES

All orders made on this website or at the shop are subject to acceptance of the terms of sales by the buyer. KSF reserves the right to change these terms of sales at any time.

ARTICLE 1: Online Item Availability

The merchandise available on shop.ksf.ca is subject to change. To keep informed of new arrivals and sales, you can register to receive our newsletter when creating an account. Despite our efforts in synchronizing the website merchandise with our stock, some items that appear on the website may be out of stock. In this case, we will automatically refund your payment and inform you about the unavailability shortly after the order is placed.

ARTICLE 2: Account Registration

Filling the registration form and registering is optional to complete any transaction on shop.ksf.ca. You may register or login to your account by accessing the "My Account" link.

ARTICLE 3: Forgot your password?

If you forget your account password, click on the "forgot password?" link. You will be sent an email with a temporary password. It is suggested to change your temporary password after logging into your account.

ARTICLE 4: Checkout

You can make changes to your cart until the order is confirmed. Shopping at shop.ksf.ca is safe and secure. For more information, you can consult the privacy policy section.

ARTICLE 5: Payments

We accept payments by Paypal, Visa or Mastercard. On receipt of your order, we proceed with a pre-authorization on your credit card to ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet the payment of this order. The pre-authorization is completed when the order is packed and ready to be shipped. If the billing or shipping information is incorrect or incomplete, we will contact you to confirm them before your order is shipped.

ARTICLE 6: Order management

You can view your order history and the status of your order by logging into your account and clicking on the "Order Status" link.

 ARTICLE 7: Sales tax

Orders shipped to Canadian provinces incur local federal and provincial taxes.

ARTICLE 8: Shipping and handling

All shipments made by shop.ksf.ca have a tracking number and is not cover by insurance, except on special request.

We don’t ship surfboard, Stand Up Paddleboard or paddles. Paying for those items through our website is possible, but the items will have to be picked up in store. We can ship those items when requested by the client. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information.

Please note that you can order deliverable and « pickup in store » products together, but the website will only show the « pickup in store » option. If you want to get your deliverable product shipped to you, you can make two separate orders or contact us at [email protected] .

The days listed in the following table refer to working days. Please allow 24 to 48 hours (working days) to prepare your order.

Orders in Canada :

KSF ships everywhere in Canada.

 Shipping Methods

Deliveries to Canada are provided by Canada Post (www.postescanada.ca). For all the boards and paddles, we use a private carrier. 

Delivery

Standard delivery in Canada: 3 to 7 working days.

Rules and restrictions relating to the shipment of products

Orders are shipped only during weekdays. Business days are Monday through Friday, except national holidays. We cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Terms of delivery

In the unlikely event that an ordered item is lost in transit, KSF must be notified within 30 days of the original shipping date to initiate a claim for the item(s) missing(s). Orders reported lost after the 30 day period cannot be traced and will not be credited.

Any signature obtained by the shipper at the clients designated shipping address constitutes confirmation of the receipt of merchandise by the customer.

 ARTICLE 9: Exchanges and Returns

KSF wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We accept the return of items at regular price as long as they meet the following criteria, online and at the shop. You must first send us an email at [email protected] and explain the reasons for your exchange/return.

The original tags are attached.

The return request is made within 14 days of the reception of your order for a refund or an exchange.

Items must not have been worn, altered, damaged or washed.

Proof of purchase required

For online orders, a return label will be sent to you after you contacted [email protected]

We don't accept return or exchange on the following products : Wetsuits, wetsuit booties, swimwear men and women, surf wax and leash.

*The shipping fees are non-refundable unless agreed upon with a store manager; however, we will cover the shipping costs for returning your items.

 Reimbursement

If for any reason you would like to return your merchandise, you may do so within 14 days of purchase with a full refund, providing the garment in its original condition. The proof of purchase is required. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information. The shipping fees are non-refundable unless agreed upon with a store manager; however, we will cover the shipping costs for returning your items.

Exchanges

If you want to exchange an item for a change (i.e. size, color, etc..), your original item (s) must be returned within 14 days of receipt of your order. We will refund the value of the original returned item. Depending on your financial institution, the refund may take 7 to 14 business days to process your refund. Meanwhile, you can place a new order and buy the right product. The shipping fees are non-refundable unless agreed upon with a store manager; however, we will cover the shipping costs for returning your items.

To make your return, please email us at [email protected] so we can send you the return form, to attach to your package. If you need more information, contact us at [email protected].

 A confirmation email will be sent to you as a reception of the goods and another email will be sent confirming your refund.

Items for sale:

There are no returns or exchanges possible on items on sale. Prices in store and online can be different. 

 ARTICLE 10: Security of Personal Information

We will maintain the confidentiality of all personal information collected in our stores and our web site and will only disclose such information to employees and authorized service providers who require such information for the purposes described in this privacy and security statement. We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of personal information in our custody and control.

ARTICLE 11: Secure Shopping

When you place orders on our site, all of your order information, including your card number and delivery address, is transmitted through the Internet using encryption technology. Encryption technology, an industry standard, is designed to prevent someone other than operators of our Site from capturing and viewing your personal information.
